I like mine, too. Just ordered a second one from the $21.95 link above. (I also got 10% off and free shipping due to a previous purchase from their ebay store.)

I just got mine yesterday. Seems to be very nice and fairly solid. The only thing that isnt great is that the plug on the DC side is not compatible with the treo itself- so you cant take just the wall charger on a trip. You need the whole cradle.

This will never effect me but it may be worth noting.

    Thanks xdalaw.

No prob, Les. I'm still waiting for my second one that should probably be at my office Monday.

The one thing I don't like is that the AC plug seems to only charge the spare battery, while the cradle charge is USB only, if I'm not mistaken. Result is that if your device is low on juice, the cradle probably wont help you. But, if you have a second battery to swap back and forth, no prob. That's what I've been doing, anyhow.

I am charging using A/C with no problem. I dont even have USB plugged in.

There is a little switch on the front right side of the unit, try flipping that. I might have gotten lucky with whatever setting I received it on.

D'oh! I never really figured out how that worked. (I know it's not too complicated, just too complicated for me.)

I'll drop my device in when it really needs a charge, switch to AC and unplug the USB and see how it goes.

    Thanks!!

Any noticeable difference after switching this? I was having the same problem and then switched it over to to Charge instead of Sync. Still charged at a very slow rate, maybe 1% per hour.

Hey Can you use this cradle for Treo 800w (s) with the case on? Or do you need to remove the case before putting it in the cradle? I have the Seidio innocase and I"m not sure I would want to take the case off everytime I need to put it in the cradle.

Do any of these cradles accomodate the Treo 800w with the 2600 mAh battery installed?

I don't think any of them do. I would like to some pics of the cradles so I can see the support system on the back. Maybe I could take a Dremel to it to make room for the big battery.

I think the CHARGER mode does charge faster--as it should--but not necessarily when a spare battery is in the second battery slot.

I cannot sync to my PC via USB, though, when switched to CHARGER. I need to use BT, or to switch it to SYNC for USB.

I've been mainly using the CHARGER mode and connecting via BT myself. Having the device charging in the cradle is what's most important to me.

I don't have the Innocase, but think you'd likely have to remove the device from the case to connect it in the cradle. (It might fit if you removed the "back support" piece.)

Perhaps someone else with this setup can say for sure.

Just what I needed. I'm having usb port problems. I have to wrap the wire around the phone. Be great to be able to dock it or charge a 2nd battery without the phone. Thanks for the post.

Here are some pics- it is difficult to photograph with the treo docked as this doc doesnt leave my office and I have no cam here. I will say that the clear plastic holder gives very little breathing room. Even the slimmist case would have to be wedged in.

Also, I will add that when connected to AC my treo charges fast. About an hr from empty to full.
