No surprise you could not find it.

The picture is faked, not even sdhc marking on it.
Furthermore, sandisk does not list 16gb microSDHC card (yet).

Besides, is there any reason we should think a 16GB SDHC card would work in the 800w? Isnt this thing only rated up to 8GB?

It is really faked? I got to it from here: http://www.techdigest.tv/2008/09/microsd_just_go.html

It's one of the things I look for everyday cause I want bigger storage. I apologize if it is. My bad.

As far as supporting it, I think it will go up to the 32gb's since it supports the sdhc standard. Anyone else?

It should be able to address all 32 GB's but its possible that it can not format to a full 32GB without a driver update. Back when the Treo600 maxed at 2GB we got the 4GB cards to work fine but we had to format them in the PC.

Not sure about that. The Treo 600p is a Palm OS, so there maybe limitations in Palm OS. WM devices, especially with SDHC drivers, may not have any limitations. I know on the 700wx, the max supported card was 2Gb. Many, including myself, have used 4Gb SD cards, on the 700wx, without any issues. I would assume that just as long as future cards support the same format (SDHC) there should be no issues using them.

But it does look like it's available, but overseas...

Just got done with a chat on Palms site. Not that their support staff know everything but here is what they are saying about 16gb cards:

    Kent(Thu Sep 25 11:43:02 PDT 2008)>Treo 800w doesn't support 16GB SD Card.

eric(Thu Sep 25 11:43:50 PDT 2008)>what about the software would prevent it from reading larger cards? if the Treo Pro supports up to 32gb why cant the 800w running the same OS? Will there be a fix for this?

    Kent(Thu Sep 25 11:45:24 PDT 2008)>Let me explain you.

    eric(Thu Sep 25 11:45:35 PDT 2008)>please do

Kent(Thu Sep 25 11:46:44 PDT 2008)>Yes, both devices are same on both OS but it depends upon the ROM of the Device Treo Pro ROM is supporting 32GB SD Card Treo 800w ROM is supporting upto 8GB only, both devices are having same Operating Systems but the ROM's of the Devices are different.

Kent(Thu Sep 25 11:47:32 PDT 2008)>As of now we don't have any updates from our Engineering Team whether there would be any update or patch which enables Treo 800w to support more than 8GB SD Card.

Kent(Thu Sep 25 11:47:51 PDT 2008)>However I will forward your request to our Engineering Team.
