As the title says, is there a way to supress that little balloon that says "Dialing #777" when you start a data session? It really annoys me, especially when i'm typing or trying to select something and it just pops up in front of me.

Start-Settings-Sounds&Notifications-Notifications-Connection Established, uncheck box "Display message on screen". That should do the trick for you.

If you get rid of that screen, then what would it say it is not connected?

On my phone the EV icon up top is "blocked" by a square behind it when not connected to vision. When its connected it shows EV with arrows (and highlighted arrows when transferring data)

Thanks. That has been annoying me too. Going to shut it off.
