Just got an email from Palm, the Treo Pro is available for pre-orders in the US. It is the unlocked version, GSM, costs $549 (with free shipping and a free international power adaptor), and is only available in obsidian black. Shipping is estimated in 2-3 weeks.

Phones: Sprint Blackberry Bold 9650, Sprint Blackberry Tour 9630, Nextel Blackberry 8350i Curve (Everything Plus Family Data 1600)

No, as Sprint uses CDMA, not GSM. It'll work on AT&T or (somewhat) on T-Mobile.

On a CDMA version, so far there's a single vague anonymous source... not much to go on. I agree with Malatesta's post in another thread--not likely before 2009, if then.
