OK...Here is kind of a newb question: Do hard re-sets have an overall negative effect on your device? As I am going through trial software and finding what works, what doesnt, & what wont install poperly, I have probably performed 4-5 hard resets over the last month. It never occured to me that this could have a negative effect on my device until the last one seemed to take forever to re-load. Anyone know about this?

Shouldn't actually make a bit of difference.

Not an impact at all; what does impact is the size of the backup. I have done a bunches of hard resets as I play and just did one a few moments ago.

thanks for the info. i didnt think it made sense that it would have a negative impact. must have just been a funny fluke-thing that caused the last loooong re-boot (i'm talking WELL over 5 minutes).
