I can't listen to any music using Palm's earbuds whenever I'm on the bus or light rail, even at "max" volume. There's got to be a way to make this equipment more audible, short of cutting wires or purchasing an expensive in-ear stereo Bluetooth headset.

Has anyone tried any of these earbud covers? They help convert earbuds to in-ear headphones. I'm eager to block out the noise.

    Thanks!

I use the Griffin EarJam Earbuds on the earbuds that came with my iPod, and they work great ... made a huge difference in blocking out outside noise, making the iPod earbuds more useable. The one thing to be careful of, is that they don't fit every earbud - in fact, they do not fit on the earbuds that came with the 800w (I tried).

That's too bad. Thanks for letting me know, Levman. I wonder how the other earbud covers would work. It doesn't seem like such an earbud cover would be too hard to manufacture. This is Palm's chance to cash in.
