There are Treo 750 extended batteries on eBay sourced from Hong Kong i.e. 2100ah & 2400ah that come with a different battery cover that makes the 750 thicker by approx 4mm to accomodate the thicker battery.

Has anyone tried these, if so an indication of quality and fit of the battery cover and the battery life would be helpful.

    Thanks in advance.

There is a 1600mAh battery that doesn't require an alternate battery cover.

I'm sure you already know this

I use the Seidio 2400mAh with the extended cover. The quality and fit is excellent, and I actually prefer holding the phone with the extended cover.

    Thanks for the reply.

Being twice the capacity does it last twice the time based on your normal use?

Did you buy it on line, where from and how much did it cost cost?

I gather these batteries don't require a separate charger, that they can be left in the Treo 750 and charged as normal .

Have a look at the site there are 3 or 4 reviews, but I don't think anyone was real happy.

I JUST got a TREO 750. I was looking at those 2400 mAh batteries on ebay. One of the ebayers told me that the extended batteries won't charge in the phone as they have to have some chip in them to charge....something about the palm only charging batteries with this chip...so this 2400 mAh battery this guy bought won't charge in the phone.

It wasn't a Seidio brand...it was something else I cannot remember.

I take it all Seidio's have this "chip"? And will charge in the phone?

Where do you get a case to fit over the bigger door? I have always used Body Glove cases.
