    Is there a way to select where on a card you can automatically store pics/video? I've only been able to find a "store on card" option in the camera app that simply sends to DCIM folder. I'd rather send to a different folder on the card...

    Ya, I would like to know as well, but I do not think there is a way to do that though

    Registry can be changed here:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\Pictures\Camera\OEM\PictureLocation]
    "Internal"="\My Documents\My Pictures\"
    "External"="\DCIM\"

    You are correct, I edited the post to show one backslash.

    Thank you! Annoying that this has to be a regedit...

    EDIT: I don't know *how* but editing this string is making my camera wig out, giving errors following snaps, and hanging the device among others. Edited back and have no issues. I had changed "\DCIM\" to "\Pictures|" (no quotes), which is an existing file folder on the card. Strange. Anyone else try this edit and get it to work/remap without issues?
