    All,

How would I go about deleting an app such as the "POCKET EXPRESS"?

    Thank you!

The short answer is you can't. It is in ROM.

What you can do is use File Manager to delete the shortcut in the Programs folder so that it doesn't bother you.

I know on the Mogul, when you do a hard reset and about to install the ROM software, just do a soft reset and it will not install those Sprint garbage.

this is only if you see the device installing apps after the initial setup. question.... when you do a hard reset and complete the align screen, timezone type stuff, do you see it install apps and saying something like "installing Customizations"?

if so, once you figure out how to unlock the extended rom you can get rid of the junkware.

    good luck

I get sqeemish about deleting stuff so I followed your instructions except I created a new folder in /programs/ named it Unused Programs, then cut and pasted six unused progams to the new folder.

Now if I ever did want to use one later, it's in that folder and they still launch.

And that folder (unused programs) is simply one entry taking the place of all the ones I dont want to look at.
