    From another post:
"I use www.mobilespeedtest.com ...I consistantly get 700-800kbps. is that good? I'm in the NYC area..."

Just tried this test. I got 882 kbps on EVDO. Through WiFi connection in my home, I got over 1100 kbps.

Pretty good for a little device you can put in your pocket!

That speed is slightly above average for Evdo

Got 570.40 in a 2-bar basement room (no, the bars aren't on the room, silly).

    I get between 820-850 kb/s pretty consistently, and 1.1 MB/s on WiFi.

I range anywhere from 450-850 with and without the Rev A box checked. I have had a very strong signal everytime I have checked

Does that box really mean anything??? Good or Bad?

And, redone with Rev A checked: 979.50. Not sure what to make of all this, except Sprint EV-DO is great no matter where; imagine DSL speeds on a little device.

Do you notice any difference in latency with box checked and unchecked?

The Op's speedtest doesn't show latency. I'll check out dslreports tomorrow.

I've been using this same test in various places I've been in.

In Baltimore and Atlanta I was able to get values in the high 700 range, when in places with full signal strength.

In Chattanooga here at home the Sprint connection in the house is a little less than full signal strength and I only get 454. I have not tried any place here in Chattanooga yet where there is full signal strength.

On my home WiFi connection I get 1244 kbit/sec. (yes the wireless router is literally almost within arm's reach ). If that's about the max this little puppy can do, that's pretty darn good! Nothing beats a good WiFi connection.

I am in south of Atlanta and I am inside my house. I got 5 bars.

I did two test and first one is 1.07 mbps and the second one is 1.13 mbps.

    I am happy with it.

chong67 - I guess you are near the ATL airport? I'm sure they've got some of the best cell towers in your area .

When I tested in Atlanta, I was in the Perimeter area, North Atlanta, just off Ashford Dunwoody.

    859kbps on my 800w sprint 6 bars

1.32mbps on wifi on the 800w

    186kbps on my 700wx verizon 2 bars

both phone sitting next to me testing at the same time & wondering if something is wrong with the 700wx. That seems very slow.
