I use Pocketdivxconverter to compress videos to a manageable size, and watch with TCPMP.

    I don't convert them to mp4's.

I keep all my videos as AVI's and watch them on TCPMP also. I wouldn't convert to MP4 myself.

I use a free program called Iriverter to convert my movies to digital form.

    Works nicely

Greatly appreciate the help. WM converter 2 works gr8. Cuts down to a much smaller file to take up less space and gr8 quality also.

As I said, I use pocketdivxencoder - the resulting file is approximately 80-90 MB per hour.

yep. I use core and tcpmp to play them fine.

Convert them to MP4 but be sure to use the AVC encoder. Much better quality at a much smaller filesize. Best of both worlds.
