    Hi there,

Anyone use this program (it is a freeware full up Flight Simulator with scenery, ATC, multiple planes, radios, you-name-it!) ? I have it semi-working on the 800w. It looks fantastic in terms of what it can do.

    Thanks,

I downloaded the smartphone version, and when I launch it it says that it's not a valid pocket pcs application. It's the phonefs file.

How did you get past this?

The treo is a ppc, not a smartphone. There must be a ppc version.

If you point me to which PPC version you installed, I could tell you how to get it airborne.

I figured out how to get the old bird off the ground. Have you found the ppc version yet?

The fourth one down, Leo's Flight Simulator for PocketPC gets me something working, but I can't get anything to happen after that.

The Pocket PC with ARM CPU works fine. There's 3 sliders, The right one is your throttle, the top left is your elevator trim, and the bottom right is used to extend or retract your flaps.

To take off, bring your throttle up, and accelerate. To climb, push down on the 5 way.
There are also 3 views: From inside the plane, outside like a chase plane, and finally a fly by view.

It does not create a shortcut in you programs menu. I am new to WM so I haven't figured out how to create them, so I launch it from the storage card.

Seems like a very nice sim for a pocket pc. If anyone has any questions on how to fly it, let me know.

I got off the ground, but couldn't manouver. I also couldn't use the touch screen, or even exit without a soft reboot.
