What I would like to be able to do is forward a Contact card to other folks.

    I.e.

Spoke to Bill, he needs Jane's contact info. In Outlook, I can just select Jane's contact, right click, and forward her info to Bill as a card. Is it possible to do this in WM6, or is their an add on out there that install this capability?

That would be a nice feature to have. It looks like, by default anyway, the only way to send a contact is via beam.

"Beam" also includes bluetooth devices if bluetooth is on and other devices are present.

I would also like to send via email. My Palm OS treo could do this no problem.

Basically you would have to be able to save the contacts as a vCard, then email it. Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with PPC apps that save to vCards. You could probably do a Google Search.

An easier way would be grand. I never had a problem on my 755p.

You could try this app (haven't used it myself): http://www.mobiletopsoft.com/pocket-...nager-2-5.html

    Kai's vCard Manager 2.5

Open and View vCard files (*.vcf)
Open from File Explorer with single click (assign)
    Open from Inbox (Attachment)
Open with this program (file dialog)
    Add vCard to your contacts
Save vCard file from your contacts
Send vCard file (*.vcf) per email (attachment)

Has anyone tried this? I can't find a demo or trial.

I looked all over for one just now but couldn't find it. I did find the actual developer's site though: http://www.pocketkai.net/asp/en/details.aspx?426
The newer .net version is $9.00 and you can buy it through Handango.

I believe Handango does refunds if necessary so maybe you can "try" it that way. I think that they ask for you to inquire for support issues with the developer and then if they can't resolve any issues that might be encountered, then they will process a refund for you.

This has bugged me for a long time. I finally decided to go online to find a solution tonight. I too came up with a Google search pointing towards Kai's Vcard Manager, but was hoping for a WM6 built-in solution or work around.

I found one (For my Treo 700Wx running WM6)!!!!!!!!!!!

Instead of trying to email someone a Vcard you need to MMS someone a Vcard.
    Go to your MMS inbox
    Choose Menu > New
Type in the phone number, not email address of the recipient in the "To:" field
    Choose Menu > ADD Vcard
Select the contact for your list

I can't believe I found a solution to something that I was unable to find a solution for through a search at Treo Central.

    Hope it works for you.

    Spence
