If the battery icon is messed up, it's because the .DLL's you are using do not have the correct icons in them.

My RealVGA on the 800w installs newer DLL's, and the battery icon works perfectly.

    @ NewTreoProUser27
Sorry I haven't been in the position to sit down at my desktop and give you a hand.

    @ Ebag
I haven't had time to try your version to confirm it will work on the Pro.

I am so behind on work that I haven't been dinking around with my Pro for a couple weeks now.

You have to follow the instructions in the other thread I pointed you to.

To overwrite the BatteryIndictor.exe you need to use Resco or Total Commander.

I don't see why you are getting so upset.
Take a deep breath and read thru the instructions again.
    The info is all there.

does traveller 117 have a slide out keyboard or just onscreen? that would be a deal breaker for me even if it has an iphone type keyboard, it might be useable but no way wm default kb.

    I almost forgot,
I was still staggered by the total rudeness of a certain poster.

    1. Installed MortScript
    http://www.sto-helit.de/index.php?mo...st&category=17

    2. Installed your RealVga
    http://discussion.treocentral.com/sh...d.php?t=170002
And yes, 'I DID NOT reset the phone when I was prompted after the install! Because the installer adds system files the phone will want to restart. Instead hit cancel so that the installer can install the certification keys. If these do not install, RealVGA will not function properly.'

    Battery Icon is still crunched.

So I also tried DPI.mscr and still 'Crunched' bat icon.

Can you post a screenshot of the icon?

Did you install my RealVGA while in 128 DPI?
  15. #115
    First I Hard Reset.

Then, before I installed anything I:

    1. Installed MortScript
    http://www.sto-helit.de/index.php?mo...st&category=17

    2. Installed your RealVga
    http://discussion.treocentral.com/sh...d.php?t=170002
And yes, 'I DID NOT reset the phone when I was prompted after the install! Because the installer adds system files the phone will want to restart. Instead hit cancel so that the installer can install the certification keys. If these do not install, RealVGA will not function properly.'

    Then 3rdly, I tried the DPI.mscr

I would have had to been at 128 DPI because I hadn't installed your RealVGA yet.

<edit> I will HR and try again

It doesn't matter if you install MortScript or mine first. You just can't switch DPI's until you install MortScript.

Any chance you can post your default shellres.128.dll? I need to see the original TP one so I can compare it to the 96 one and see if there is something missing.

    (Heh...TP......)

    I'll try.
The last time you asked for files off my pro I couldn't get them with either my Desktop, Resco, or Total Commander.

    Message fro Resco:
    "Cannot copy file
    'shellres.128.dll'. The
    parameter is incorrect."

    <edit>
Although if I tell resco to compress the file, it gives me the option to save the zip to storage card.

See if the attached is what you're looking for.

    <edit 2>
Nope, zip is empty - argh

    Thought that might happen.

I need a file system dump.....

Wanna try and figure out how to get a dump of the TP?

    You could try itsutils....

    Or GrabIT http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=238945

(I cannot get GrabIT to work on the 800w however)
