When you do a find nearby (pizza, gas station or whatever) nearby... and then choose menu (right soft key) on a found item you have the choices of...
    Directions to/from
    See on map
    Drive To...
    Add to my contacts

Palm Sauce...extra sweet! But buyer beware if you're into privacy. The location services are turned on by default.

Smaller than I expected, no extra battery.
The micro card slot is on the side, not under the battery.

Bluetooth networking, serial port, and wireless stereo connected with my laptop pretty easily.
Something old, something new. I got a ringer switch and 800W .

Text messaging is now the default left soft key... I like that.

REV A is quick too. I think in the box is Turn by Turn software if I am not mistaken too.

why when u have a text messaging shortcut on the keypad shortcuts??? or is that for mail?

I would much rather have the left softkey as mail and the shortcut as text

Left softkey is threaded Palm text (which looks gorgeous in 320 x 320) and the Envelope under the OK button is indeed email. There might be a registry hack out there to reassign that left soft key and you can obviously reassign the email button to threaded text.

I'm wondering if there's a registry hack to just have the default WM6.1 threaded SMS instead of the Palm program. I much rather prefer having it all in one app instead of two seperate ones. I also don't like having the two seperate plug-ins for messages. I'd rather have one line with both email and SMS on it. I picked up my Treo 800w today, and there's a lot I really like about it, and a lot I'm going to have to get used to from the Touch.

First, I love the device, it feels good in my hands, noticeably lighter. It was a breeze getting active sync working with my work mail server. Wifi and GPS are great addtions. My only gripe is that i cannot activate voice command with my Jawbone bluetooth headset. VERRY frustrating. I was hoping this would have been rectified with this new device....

yes, i got mine at the store today.

My other complaints are that the speaker phone is LOUD, almost too loud, it makes the caller sound muffled. also the stylus is rather cheap..but hey, i will be getting a stylus pen as soon as i can find one.

At least there's an easy fix for that... ;-)
