    Guys,

I have tried to configure Outlook email on WM6.0 to use my regular SMTP server for sending emails. No dice, every time I try I get the error that messages cannot be send even though all of my info and authentication are correct.

I found the temporary fix of using cwmx.com as the SMTP server but still I'd like to use my own for security reasons. Any ideas out there that can help? anybody has bee succesfull using their own SMTP servers in AT&T?

Using AT&T's outgoing server should work. I have RoadRunner as my email provider and cannot use their SMTP server (has something to do with spam prevention, I'm told). Instead I use VZW's (my wireless provider) outgoing server and everything works fine.
