    You made my day... Thanks... lol

    Others: You have to hit "read" and scroll through the images to see the 800... along with other info.

    edit: personally, I'd rather have the samsung i760... although, I'll end up with the 800... lol

    This is good news as I slipped and feel on my VX6800 and broke the screen. Reading the panel it stated that the 6800 wood be upgraded the 6.1 in may and that didn't happen as far as I know.

    How does Verizon / Phone Co's define Q3?

    Whats with the 1.3 megapixel camera? Otherwise looks much better in charcoal black than blue.

    Code:
    # Input: $release_quarter as Qn where n is 1-4 (scrub this input, of course)
    my $n = substr($release_quarter,-1,1);

    ($sec, $min, $hour, $dom, $mon, $yearOffset, $dow, $doy, $ds) = localtime();
    $release_year = 1900 + $yearOffset;
    $release_year = $release_year + $n;

    $release_date = "December 31, " . $release_year;
    print $release_date;
    exit;

    Looks really good to me. My 850 envy is fading a bit.

    Odd. This is the look we found out about waybackwhen - BEFORE the most recent "leaked" (and quite ugly) pix of the 800w surfaced. To me, THIS is a good-looking Treo.

    I don't want WM but I'd love to have a device that looked like this one.

    Oh yeah. I tried typing on a Centro, while at the mall on Saturday, and I agree with folks who say it works well enough, but I wouldn't want to type on it as long as I would on my 755p.

    IOW, I'm glad that the Centro keyboard is not on the 800w (as I expect this style would bleed over to future Treos I might want).
    * Stuck patches? Partial erase worked for me.
    * Stuck virtual keyboard? Partial erase AND folder deletion worked for me.

    Thanks for the pic.

    I have a mogul with a 2 megapixel camera and my wife's Treo 700wx still takes better pictures!

    It does look nice but the specs seems dated if you believe the Raphael's spec- then that will be the PDA to beat for 2008.

    I really, really like this... so, it's obvious there must be a problem somewhere... It's CDMA and US only by the looks of it.

    If the Samsung i770 has a 2.8in screen then I may have to move up to it, if not I will be sticking with my i760. The 800w specs are real nice also, but I don't think i can to a screen smaller than 2.7.

    Odd that we see wm6.1 for the 6800, and i760, but not the MotoQ9, the 6900 and the smt5800.

    My Kaiser had a 3MP camera and it still took lousy pics. Who cares about the 1.3? Cameras on phones are fun and handy sometimes but cant replace the average camera.

    It says VZ Navigator. Does this mean that there is no GPS? Is the VZ 800w going to be the same aGPS as all the other VZ phones?

    I wouldn't put too much stock in the projected Q3 time frame for a Verizon release of the 800w. Over the years, I've seen so many of these leaked Verizon slideshows with their projected release date and I've lost count of the number of them where the stated/predicted date was not met, especially for recent smartphones like the XV6800, and Samsung I760. If you take a look at the slide for the XV6800, it shows a WM6.1 upgrade scheduled for May 2008 and that obviously didn't happen so again, I wouldn't put too much stock in that Q3 prediction by Verizon for the 800w.

    Does anyone use a phone as a serious camera?

    Manufactures could drop cameras from all phones and I'd not blink. lol

    It is the descrepancy in itself that is probably of interest to him. Everything else has stated it will have a 2.0mp camera.

    I bet 1.3mp was an error on this doc.

    Its quite handy actually. I have used it as my camera substitute many times, sometimes when I dont have my camera, and on a few occasions when the camera ran out of battery.

    I used it the other day to take a picture of a newspaper article, and the resolution and definition was brilliant, and because the Tilt has an auto-focus it was all very readable.

    I think it's an error unless they downgraded...lol

    It shoots 1600x1200 which I was under the impression is 2.1MP.

    Just a thought but maybe there is two models? And the sprint version gets the 2mp camera and a slightly different body? Or this just old un-updated documents?

    Actually I use my camera a lot. I very often run across things I want to photograph and usually have my phone with me but not my camera. The camera feature is very important to me.

    any side pictures of the 800w? any idea if it'll be reusing the same power connector as the 700wx?

    will the 800w have a 2.5mm phone jack?
