basically i love my phone. it does everything that I need it to do. but the one problem with the 750 is the compatability with bluetooth music and texting. i want to do both at the same time.

when I am playing my music through my bluetooth headphones everything goes good until I try to reply a text message or start a new message. once i do this the texting goes extra slow motion. it also will start skipping letters that i type. its real annoying. the only way i can text any faster is by pausing my music.

im not trying to switch phones because i love my treo. but this is bothering me.

    "edit"
    im using a treo 750
i have the motorola s9 all black edition headphones
it glitches when using windows media player or pocket music

Since one doesn't have much to do with the other, I can only guess your processor is laboring hard.

This might happen if your music is coded at a high bitrate, thus requiring more processor to decode real-time. Try an MP3 with a lower bitrate and see what happens.

BT stereo (especially streaming radio) and doing anything else (web browsing etc) is slow on the 750.. I think the processor is under powered unfortunately but could be wrong.. there are a few reg changes that can be made to increase performance for a2dp but lowers sound quality..perhaps it's the equivalent of lower bitrate playback

Thanks Scotty. I didn't realize the BT stereo streaming was such a processor hog.

try turning off t9, searching for word matches must be processor/memory intensive.

I use .ogg files for my music, I can fit thousands in under 2GB as apposed to MP3's although its a great format.

so im turning off all of the predictive t9 stuff to see if that helps. i dont really like making my mp3s lower quality but i guess i can try it. they are all at 128kbps

Processor + RAM isn't fast enough I believe. Don't bother trying to fix it - hardware limitation.

    well that makes me sad.

It's ALWAYS worth trying. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

If explorers had accepted the "hardware limitation" of the Earth being flat and hadn't bothered trying to cross the oceans, where would we be?
