From talking from someone in email, he told me there's these files that comes from the 800w

    libModemUpdater.dll
    ModemUpdater.exe
    NPRG6800B.hex
    amss.mbn
    amsshd.mbn
    partition.mbn
    02.PRI
    sprint_60611.prl

Based on this, I think the radio firmware is MSM6800B, it is Rev A (evdo) because Novatel U720 etc also uses MSM6800 chipset (but without the voice part I think). it would also have a weak standalone GPS. (I have not figure out how to enable it in novatel yet)

To change ESN would need a ram dump and modify like the novatel, because the \nvm\ folder would have a "cross out" symbol (cannot access it)

Tell this person to update their PRL, 60612 is the latest, lol.

The msm-6800 is an odd choice as I would have predicted the much, much newer msm-7501, which if I remember also works-around the alleged copyright infringement of Broadcom.

Edit: then again, the Samsung Instinct reportedly uses it too..

Edit 2: Huh, the msm6800 support "push to talk" i.e. QChat "push to talk that combines immediate voice with simultaneous delivery of video and pictures" which I have not been able to verify for the msm-7500.
