Well, for one, I need a KB counter, as I only have 20MB per month due to roaming. Which ones is the best/most accurate, etc.?

Also, what are some of the coolest apps I can put on my 750 to really show it off. Some cool desktop (today screen) stuff maybe? Other cool programs...

    Thanks!!

SpB Mobile Shell 2 - iPhone like access to programs, tel nos
SpB Pocket Plus - adds nice utility features, plays very well with Mobile Shell
    Ringo - MP3 ringtones
Google Maps / MS Live Mobile
Resco File Explorer w Registry Editor
    BugMe! graphic notepad
    Developer One Agenda One

This is what I think is must have (at least for me):
    Spb Phone Suite
    Weather Panel
Windows Live (I added it to my original AT&T ROM, thanks to fastlerner)
Windows Live Search (gas prices + movie times)
    Google Maps
    Sudoku (the free one)
    WisBar Lite
    MemMaid
    Sprite Backup
    Tube2
    Warden Security

Everything else I have is non-essential.

Ain't that the truth! haha...iPhone is more like a toy. This 5-year thing is an awesome business model for Apple and AT&T. Release #3 will have 3G. Releases 4 through 6 will have other tiny enhancements not that I think 3G is a small enhancement.

Thanks for your list. Anybody else?

Can't help you on the KB counter. Been unlimited since day 1.

As for other cool apps, check the link in my sig. This question comes up so much that I finally started a page to keep track of some of my faves with some harder-to-find files hosted for everyone's joy.

It's still a young page, so I'm open if others have ideas for additions.

No worries. Found a great KB traffic counter. At home in the States, I'll probably keep it on for kicks, but I also have unlimited. I forget, did your list include an IM client? Agile Messenger, and IM+ are both excellent, and have free trials. I like SPB Mobile Shell, love the SPB Weather plug-in. Pretty's up my Today's screen a lot! There's only so much you can do on 240x240 resolution, which, in the case of the 800w won't be there anymore. I've missed the high resolution (320x320) from my Treo 650 days! It truly makes a huge difference.

Apart from that, I use Skype Mobile, which is excellent, but not as much fun in 2100MHz 3G countries due to lack of building penetration. I want to talk to the person that said Europe and Asia were light years ahead in mobile technology, and I'll show them an EVDO Rev. A Sprint Air Card connection in Baker, California, population 2.

I'll let you know when I find more "must-have"'s.

How do you like Warden Security? Is there a lag time when you try to unlock your phone?

Nope, works like a champ. Of course, I read in your other post that you upgraded to WM6... Mine came preinstalled, so no problems.

The "must-have " apps on my Treo 750 are:

    1. SBSH PocketBreeze
    2. SBSH iLauncher

For the poster above who needed a KB counter, check out Spb GPRS Monitor. I've used this in the past and it works well, and comes pre-configured with data plans from most of the telcos so you can get auto-warnings when reaching daily/monthly data limits. Quite useful.
