If I listen to streaming audio and have the charger plugged in, I'll get a warning message that the battery is getting too hot. This happens after maybe 20 minutes. I can feel that it really is getting warmer.

Just charging doesn't cause the problem and just listening to streaming audio doesn't cause the problem.

    Anyone else have this problem?

I haven't see that one, but it's not surprising. I'm assuming your streaming over the internet. If so, you've got heat from the 3G radio, the drain on the battery, and the charging of the battery.

I know mine gets hot when I tether as it's the same deal. 3G + drain + charge. I'm surprised I haven't seen it too.

What size battery are you using? I've got 2400mah. Maybe the larger capacity doesn't get as hot as it's not pushing the cells as hard?

I have the original battery. I just ordered the 1600 battery. My case is too tight to use one of the batteries that stick out.

Yes, I was on 3G, which just came to my office. I guess it wasn't a problem when I was just using Edge.

Yeah, mine gets noticably warmer on 3G than on EDGE.
