I have read thru the forums about the problem with WM5. I am using WM6, but my 750 still does not see my storage card.

I am using a 2GB Sandisk micro SD kit. I originally formatted it using a pc dock in using the incorrect file system and then again in the correct file system.

Is this card screwed for use in a 750?

    Any help / suggestions? Thanks...

I'm in the same boat with my Sandisk 1G card. It worked fine on my old 750 w/WM5 but when I got a warranty replacement unit that has WM6, the card is not recognized.

I am going to buy a card reader to see if reformatting will help but it is odd that it works fine on any other phone that I insert it into but mine

Format it from the PC with FAT32. Hopefully that will straighten it out.

I have now tried my Sandisk 1GB card on 2 different Treo 750's, both running WM6 and the card will not fully recognize. The screen will light up when you insert the MicroSD card and the device will make a noise but it is not visible to explore. It was working fine before doing a warranty exchange for the worn out keys on my WM5 750.

Went out and bought a USB SD reader/writer from Wal-mart and my PC doesn't recognize the card either. It shows the device as a removable disk drive but says there is no card in the reader when I try to open it up. Doesn't look like formatting is an option.

Should I just give up on this card and buy another 2-4GB MicroSD card? If there is one that is known to be more compatible than others, please let me know. I can use the bigger card as an .mp3 player and put some movies or something on it.

I'd say that your card is beyond repair. I could be wrong though. You can pick up a 2Gig MicroSD with both adapters (for Mini and SD) for $25.

I think phrogpilot is right on this one. If you're PC can't even recognize it, then the card is probably toast.

Since you're on WM6, you might as well pick up an SDHC card reader and card.

Before you give up go to Panasonic's web page. They have a program you can download that will reformat the card and that could work. Panasonic is one of the official format supporters for the SD format.
