I just thought I'd share a quick little story...

Long story short... I went to lunch with a friend and her friend. I put my 700wx on the table, but way off to the side out of the way. Next thing you know my friends friend says "Is that your phone? It's huge, that thing is a brick"

I thought it was funny cause "brick" is used among treo users, but this girl was clueless on cell phones, among other things.
I had to ditch my 700wx for a Blackberry...

I actually owned the Moto brick back in 1990. Not only was it a dollar a minute but it could literally be used as a weapon. The Treo may be bulky but its a solid unit compared to the Mogul or Touch. Smartphones in general are bulky. For what they do I for one could not go back to a regular phone.

This is the problem a lot of us are having. The 700wx looks so outdated. However, it is highly refined under the hood. I have tried to move to a different devices with no luck. Always have to come back to the "brick".

I cant wait to get the new brick.

After two years with my 700w I just switched to the Centro. So far so good and it definitely is not a brick...
