Does anybody have a recommendation for a copy/paste utility?

I see some apps out there, but they're all labeled for "Smartphone", not for Pocket PC. Does that matter?

I have FlexMail 2007 installed & want to be able to copy/paste within the email editing box (as well as in other places), but can't do it. The developer says that "The Windows Mobile Smartphone platform does not support copy/paste in its user interface. Our software is not written to preclude the use of copy/paste."

    TIA,
    -Michele

OK, now I feel like a Moron. I didn't think to highlight the text, then press-and-hold the stylus. I did that & there's the edit/copy/paste menu

    Duh.

My only defense is that I'm still new to WM - was a Palm OS user for years.

    *Sigh*

    hehehe... It happens.

Holding the stylus is the equivalent of a mouse right-click.

If u like to do thoes things via the keyboard and if u do love the one hand operation u might want to take a look at magikb lite. This tool is realy awesome and it is realy similar to one I've used on the 650. Don't know the name of the POS app, but it does the same.

I'm not connected to the author of magikb lite, but I could not live without it on my 750.

You can do the same thing one-handed via the keyboard. Instead of holding the stylus, just hold down on the center button in the middle of the directional pad. You'll get the same menu and you can just arrow down to your choice and select.

    Voila, no stylus required.

That's for sure, but u can't highline text via the keyboard - that's the reason for the extra software and for me, the same way I've used my 650.

Nah, you don't need to waste any money on this, or anything else to get kbd cut/copy/past.

Install CtrlKeyPro (it's free!). You will then have a functional ctrl key on the keyboard, and the usual Ctrl+X, C, or V work for cut/copy/paste.

So, will CtrlKeyPro offer me the possibility to use shift and the nav key to highline text? I've saw a fex threads mentioning CtrlKeyPro, but back than I was only searching for a simple tool that would only give me the mentioned function. I don't need extra key functionality, I only need a quick and dirty way to highline text and I could live with the build in solution, by pressing and holding down the center button.

Btw, referring to the manual, the 750 should have been able to do this out of the box. I've talked to Palm and they've said "ups, we've missed that one.." and they ara not willed to change this fact.

Anybody got a link for this CtrlKeyPro? Google only gives me threads here in this forum and I didn't see any links.

    Thanks.
