OK.. so I just got back from vacation where I had no service for a few days.

When I came back and tried to get my Gmail messages- i keep getting an error saying

"messages cannot be downloaded to your mobile device. Make sure you are connected and that your e-mail account settings are correct. Then, try to download messages again."

What makes this all the more perplexing....

I can't send messages either from my Treo G Mail..

Sometimes it is downloading some messages before the error pops up.

Did anyone else notice that GMail has recently slightly altered their interface?
So could that have contributed to this problem?

So far, I've deleted and reinstalled my G-Mail account to my Treo with no results. POP is enabled on GMail...

    Any advice?

Maybee, Try the IMAP4 settings. I set this up, and man do I love it.

You have to enable imap on the same screen you do in your gmail account under settings.

    incoming mail server is. imap.gmail.com
    outgoing is still. smtp.gmail.com

let me know what you figure out.

Looks like they fixed the bugs for us windows mobile users. Any more tips and tricks you can think of? I quickly set it up last night for another test and it looks like things are working ok.
