There's a lot better options if you want to replace what's in the carrier line with missed call info, sports scores, stock quotes and more..head over the WM Developers/Mortscript forum for a looksee
    Palm III > HS Visor > Treo 600 > Treo 650 > Treo 750 > Treo Pro > PrePlus GSM

I looked at the Carrier Wars thread and it went SOOOO high over my head I couldn't even see it...
Plus, from what I gather, it does not hide the carrier logo line, but simply replaces it with a more useful info. But as I'm not a developer and am not familiar with mortscript, I wouldn't even know how to test this...

I also tried hidelogo, which unfortunately hides the date filed as well.

Is there a way to hide the carrier logo line but leave the date line? can the script posted in the Carrier Wars thread do it?

Use hidelogo, then use the "date time hack" to display both the date and time on the top. Happy hunting!
