all,

i am a total noob to WM. i have a treo 700w, and installed SiruiCE for smartphones. i am pretty excited about being able to listen to my sirius on my phone, but unfortunately, it doesn't work for me. i installed TCPMP just in case it was an issue with WMP, but it has the same issue. TCPMP tells me that it "can't open URL" and wmp just says "locating" until it eventually tells me that the file may be corrupt or unable to open (something along those lines). does anyone have any idea why this is happening? i have to go on a business trip in a week, and would love to have my satellite radio along for the trip. if anyone can get this working i will name my first born after you.

    thanks,

    Hayt

don't know if SiriusCE has a smartphone and PPC version but if they do you might have installed the wrong one?

version 2 has a ppc version and smartphone version. i installed the older version first, that didn't work, then i tried both versions of 2.0

i have tried to stream audio from the internet (most recently tried NOAA weather radio stream for boating) and i cannot seem to get any streams at all.

here is the NOAA weather radio stream:

the other app is SiriuCE which uses either WMP or TCPMP to stream sirius satellite radio on WM5. i have heard that other people with treos use the app. i cannot get a copy of the stream

    Don't use SiriusCE, use SiriusWM5.

I cam across a gold mine, and I have to say it was worth the $25..00 I paid for this program. The program is called SelectRadio and it plays Sirius, XM and tons more that I couldn't possibly tell you. I say check it out, I am running it on my 700wx. What sound.

I could not get the NOAA to work. You can get free music streams in wma from here.

I'm having the same problem, but it's not the sites i'm using, it's media player.

I can't get a single radio station to stream via streamcenter.com.
