Yes, it seems like you would have to reload. Some of them you can run off the Storage Card if you only use them once in a while, as I did with UI Tweaker.

They are still all there, but now they do not show up in the Programs window in WM6. Do I have to reinstall all these programs, or is there an easier way to get WM6 to recognize them from my storage card? Sorry for the noob question, and thanks for any help.

Did you lose your third party applications when you upgraded to WM6? Did you have to reinstall them?

I am hoping to upgrade tonight but using a fresh laptop.

Mine went through a couple of Hard Resets, so yes, back to factory default.

What was interesting, is that when I got WM 6 finished and set up my email, I did not have to set up my Internet connection again, it was automatically set up with Rogers.

    The device shows:

    Palm Tr
    IPL-0.20

    Palm Tr
    SPL-0.24.0000

    and teh Updater says:

    Update failed

'An error occured during the update process. Please complete the following steps to restart the update:
Disconnect your device and perform a soft reset
Reconnect the device making sure that ActiveSync is running
Click 'Quit' and then restart this update'

I follow teh inmnstructions but it keeps happening

I had this happen to me too (I was updating from WM5) and it seems that the Syncing was interfering. So, I deleted the partnerships, re-created them, but did not set up the device (Thats the options that WMDC offers)

    Then it worked fine.

I installed WM 6 on an unlocked Vodafone branded 750v. All is working very well. What is strange is that once I set up the email account, my Internet connection was already set up to Rogers. Then I decided to set up MMS today and some of it was already set up as well. Very strange as I had hard reset a few times last night prior to successfully updating to WM6. Could it possibly have become locked to Rogers?

I finally got this working was an issue with the cable, it seems stable and a little bit fatser than teh AT&T rom.

dissapointing that the Vodaphone Business theme does not have the cool shiny gradient on teh start menu :-(

    @Treozine
Same happened to me. But I still can sync my contacts and calendars, but not my email (my push email actually). My push email powered by Exchange 2003 SP2. I always got an error : The security certificate on the server is not valid. Contact your Exchange Server administrator or ISP to install a valid certificate on the server.
Even I already did add the Secure DWord Key into HKCU/Software/Microsoft/ActiveSync/Partners

Did Sprite also backup your SMS / MMS messages? I've been reading severals chains, not none are conclusive if SMS / MMS get backed up.
