    I believe many of us with Exchange accounts that force security polices on WM 5/6 devices are looking for a way to defeat the scheduled device lock requirement. Well, here is a simple utility and instructions to do just that:

    It's called Stay Unlock and it works great. I used to have to enter my device lock password every 24 hours. Not any more!

    Palm Pro > PalmIII > Visor Prism w/Omnisky>SPCS Treo300 > SPCS Treo600 >
    SPCS Treo650 > CNG Treo650 > Copper Treo680 > ATT Treo750 WM6 > iPhone 3G

    I installed this on my wife's 6800 about a month ago and it works fine with WM6
    Treo 600 > Treo 650 > Treo 700p > Treo 700wx -> Mogul -> Touch Pro
    You may like to flash, but your phone shouldn't. LED Killer

    OH BOY OH BOY OH BOY

    I'm *definitely* going to be giving this a shot on WM6. I'm a mac guy and the new missing sync won't work with passworded devices - which my exchange server enforces.

    before I try....does this hack completely eliminate the password prompt, or can I change the frequency? I would like to keep the Password prompt only on a daily basis, NOT multiple times per day.

    There is a frequency setting for every 24 hours (maximum), if the server allows. This utility keeps the device lock feature turned off (as though the option box was not checked).

    Also tried it on a WM6 SmartPhone (Moto Q9m) and it works great. Eliminates a huge hassle on WM5 and WM6 devices that use Exchange DirectPush.

    What a God-Send!
