As well, I tried opening the file on my laptop via MobileSync and it loads up as just the links in text with a blue background. So the file itself works in firefox on my Laptop.
Not sure what to tell you... I don't why the Mogul is babbling about signed certificates for a stupid html file with a few links in it, honestly.

Anything at all unusual about your Mogul? Do you use Opera Mini as your browser by any chance?

Can you try bringing up pocket IE, and then typing in:

    http://www.youtube.com/?nomobile=1

And then try playing a video, see if that works at least.

I put in that address and sure enough YouTube works now.

How about that. What are some other sites that can be accessed like YouTube now?

Yeah they are all in that html file. If you load it in your PC, you should be able to see the entire list (google, veoh etc). If you get a chance, maybe you can try this cab instead...

I made a small change in the cab configuration in the last version and there's a *slight* chance this is causing your issue. Until now, I haven't heard of any Mogul users running into this problem. Attached below is the cab file:

EDIT: removed cab file since it didn't work, this was just an older version 1.4.2

I did that, just went in and installed the new cab file. Didn't soft reset afterward or anything, and it's still the same as before. No luck opening the local link for Video Links but everything else works.

Thanks for posting this, works great! i do have one question though.

I noticed this only works when i have nomobile=1 appened to the youtube url. So if someone sends me a link in an email or text message, i cant just click it and go. I have to copy and paste it and then add on that otherwise i get the error message about java/flash.

So it seems the nomobile=1 tag does something. Does that force youtube into treating me as though i'm sitting at a desktop and not using a mobile phone?

I dont suppose there's anyway around that? Would be nice to be able to just click a link and have the video play. But i can live with having to add nomobile=1 at the end of the link if thats what it takes.

    thanks

You are being automatically redirected to the mobile youtube site, which you don't want to use. You should use the "Video Sites" starting page and choose youtube from there (see step 5 in the instructions).

Or you can type in http://www.youtube.com/?nomobile=1

Do not install flash 7.x because it will hang if you go to the youtube main page.

Yes. First, let it take to you the mobile version of youtube, and when it does, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on "Switch to: Classic View". This will set a cookie that will prevent you from being redirected to the mobile site.

It does work, it is just slow. The file is over 30MB and sometimes youku serves up data at only a few K per second, so it will take forever before you see the progress bar move.

By the way, *PLEASE* do not report problems with youku.com and tudou.com, the servers just plain suck, that's the way it is. It ain't my fault

Is anyway to see anyother videos that are not listed? (Like porntube.com)

    Thanks

Not sure if this is your issue, but... do you have Flash installed? Just going on what zbop said in an earlier post... "Do not install flash 7.x because it will hang if you go to the youtube main page."

    Hello 700wx Fans,

I don't know if I am to post this here but can not find anywhere to go with it.
I am having trouble unzipping the files to show video on my device, 700wx.

I downloaded them to my desktop but winzip will not unzip them for me.

Can I get some help as to what to do or get to get this program on my phone so I could start using it?

    Thank you
    Lorenzo
