I am quite frustrated that it works on my 8525 and not my 750.

PCAnywhere for PPC - PCAnywhere 12 has it. Works amazing on the treo. I hate to say it, but PCanywhere is still the fastest Windows/WM remote desktop software I have ever tried. (VNC, Windows Remote Desktop, Apple Remote Desktop (GREAT!), gotomypc)

Why not use the built in remote desktop? It is free and is built into Windows Mobile and XP/Vista/2000/2003. And I totally disagree with PCAnywhere being the fastest remote application. I use remote desktop and PC Anywhere on a daily basis.I have always found remote desktop fastest followed by VNC and PC Anywhere being the slowest of them all. The only reason we even use PCAnywhere is for Win2000 servers that don't support the /console argument.

PC Anywhere isn't free either, is it?

How do you configure the builtin Terminal Services?

Forward port 3389 to the destination computer and then enable it on your computer. Google "enable remote desktop" for your specifc OS.

I picked up a small program called Mocha VNC for $20 and it works great.

I'm not savvy enough to set up anything with port forwarding. Every time I go into my router settings I end up spending 45 minutes on the phone with tech support... :-/

I'm just looking for an "out of the box" application. If I have to pay $20, so be it.

Mocha VNC looked like it had a lot of settings similar to using the built in application.

Logmein was ***** proof. GotomyPC is exhorbitantly over priced for what I need.

    What else works?

I entered the ip address, my password and port 5900. Hit connnect and away we go.

Was very easy and I am tech savy, however I have some problems and also do not like the many settings on some.

Mocha offers a trial download. That is waht I did. Downloaded trial, installed, connected and purchased full version.

Of course your system may be different or have different configurations, so try the trial.
