    Couple of options easily performed:

First, connect our phone to your desktop and let it get sync'd up.

1 - In the bottom panel, you should see a tree view with Exchange
Server and XXX Treo Sync as the top level. Under XXX Treo
Sync you find the normal Contacts, Calendar, etc... Under
Exchange Server you find E-mail. Right-click Exchange Server
and select Settings... In the lower left panel you can click a
button to "Delete Server". If it doesn't know about the Exchange
    Server it can't sync...

2 - Back at the ActiveSync home page, select Tools->Options...
The panel that pops up with a similar tree view. You will see
a check-box next to E-mail underneath Exchange Server that
    is checked, right? Uncheck it.

    Hope this helps...

    EDMC: Thanks for your reply.

Sorry, I didn't explain clear enough. Actually I would like to still have the ability to sync via push mail but not while it's connected to my desktop. You 2nd suggestion is good as it removes synching when connected to PC but it also removes the ability to sync via push mail...
