    First....

I just got my 700wx in the past month. I noticed in the Settings menu it has "THB Kit" with a little yellow car icon. I am trying to get a stright answer if this means the 650 / 700p confort car kit is now compatible with the 700wx.

    Second...

Headset jack on the 700wx. I had a 700w before and it had (or I thought) a 3 conductor 2.5mm headset jack that automatically detected if you had a stereo headset plugged in or a standard hands free headset plugged in.

I could not help but notice the headset that came with my 700wx has the industry standard 4 conductor 2.5mm headset jack. So very happy with this, I tried using my audio cable I purchased from Verizon Wireless that has the 4 conductor 2.5mm on one end and a standard 3 conductor 3.5mm on the other. Hmmm.... only audio came out of one speaker in my car... So I don't understand what the HELL Palm did on this thing? Has anyone else tried this?

Re: the second question, I have a seidio stereo headphone. I went from a 700w to 700wx, and it still worked fine.

Maybe a problem with your 700wx.

There is no problem when I use my old audio cable. My question is why did Palm put a headset in the box with 4 conductors on the plug if it is just the same ol' 3 conductor jack?

Of course I have not even tried the included headset... Maybe Palm put one in there that wont work! That would be kinda funny.
