I noticed some bugs with the previous 1.2.0.2 especially using the GPS tracking feature. The new version is 1.2.0.4

    Cheers!

    Thanks!

EDIT: Well it still installs to the main device even when selecting to install to the card, so at least we know they didn't fix that.

Just wondering- if you have Live Search, why would you care about Google?

Google traffic is much better than LiveSearch, especially in the DC area. For some reason in the DC area, LiveSearch traffic only picks up the bottom 1/2 of the beltway, cutting off the top and i270

Is this update for all models? I just installed it on my 680 but the version still says 1.1.1.

I prefer Live Search. Google Maps is a backup for me in case I want to see if there are alternate routes or want to verify the traffic.

    Live Search
    + GPS has always worked
+ size adjustable cache can be placed on storage cards
+ software installs on storage card

    + predefined categories

    Google
    + better traffic
    + search on contacts

Thanks for the comparisons. I prefer Live search in my limited testing just because it seems to have more updated information, and the category searches are fantastic. I was looking for a restaurant in my area and Live's category search found one a mile closer than what I usually go to. I then searched Google for the same restaurant and it couldn't even find the exact same restaurant by name!

I have both and keep both updated, however, I use Live Search mainly as well.
