Software Volume Control?

Is there any way to activate the volume control with software?

I have remapped the standard buttons and the method for replacing the battery icon with the volume icon does not work properly on my device.

If I could activate the volume control some other way (through a shortcut of some sort) that would be great, but I do not know how to do that.

I have a similar problem. Try installing an app called "Speaker Phone" to adjust the volume control through software. It is discussed here:

Alas, I cannot get it to install correctly myself.

Logomachist, you've wandered into an ancient forum, unrelated to WebOS ---- "Palm WM devices" is for old Palm Treos running Windows Mobile.

For those few of us still using these (rather nice) devices, this forum is a treasure trove of tweaks, hacks, and solutions not found anywhere else.

The volume control thread you linked to is for Palm Pre running WebOS not WM.
