Is it possible to run an exe on my Treo with Windows mobile?

I downloaded pocket putty and put the exe in the Treo My Documents folder and then synced it.
    http://www.pocketputty.net/download.html

But when I try to click on it to run it from the File Explorer it, it give an error saying "There is no application associated with PocketPutty"

no, you have to run the .exe on your computer and then sync with your device. you can only run cab files off the phone itself.

Not entirely true. For the purpose of installation it is, however, there are many .EXE files in a WM device.

.EXE installers are just not deisgned to run on the WM device but on the PC instead.

Thanks, and I got pocket putty to work.

I transferred the zip file instead of the exe
