    I was thinking about this the other day so I thought I would throw it out there. I am so fully satisfied with my 700wx that I have no desire to upgrade to a better device. But if I would upgrade, what would it take;

    1) 128 mb of internal memory
    2) 128 mb of Ram
    3) 5 oz or less in weight
    4) Advanced battery management so standard battery would last 2 days between charges with heavy use.
    5) Bluetooth reliability
    6) 320x320 screen resolution

Based on the above, I dont see myself upgrading for a while. Which I would imagine is why Palm tries not to delivery the farm but tries to have thier customers always wanting more. In the case of the 700wx though, I think they failed.

    Simultaneous Data and Voice.

I addition to the above, I would probably say EV-DO Rev. A too. It sounds like its not MUCH faster than Rev. 0, but since its the latest, might as well have it if I'm looking to drop this much on the next PDA.

I just want to be able to use bluetooth without worrying about which headset I have.

I agree with that. but lets say verizon came out with a 750 which had 100 perfect blue tooth operation (a2dp as well), I dont think that would be enough for me to invest the coin.

    i would like...

    1.bluetooth dialing
    2.rev a
    3.wm 6 would be cool
    4.320x320 or at least 320x240.

sprint for me as well. cheap rates.

looks like i will be staying with my wx for a while.

Actually, as simple as that sounds, that might do it for me. The bluetooth on the Treos is so bad it's laughable.

Blue tooth voice dialing. A huge miss on my list!!!

This would be my exact list, except for the bluetooth dialing. I just want bluetooth to work! I can't tell you how many times per day my headset disconnects and I have to reboot the Treo to get it to recognize it again. WM6 is high on my list as well. I have Sprint too; don't care to go to Verizon since I get about 24% off my bill thru my company.

Everyone mentioned the things I would liked changed, but one. I would like to see software developers get docs on all the customizations and changes Palm dose to WM, so those developers can make software that is really ment for the WM Treos.

I agree with all the changes mentioned, but if I had to prioritize, I would say a significant increase in memory would be first, or if Palm would allow us to reallocate the memory usage like the older wm3 slider...I am almost out of main memory with hardly using program at all.

After that, the icing on the cake for me (on order) would be:

    reliable EV-DO connection
More reliable BT (connection and dialing)
More screen real-estate (I'm not picky, just more!!! LOL)

    Just my 2 cents

Funny.... I don't care about a headset or anything else... ALL I want is for the radio to be stronger!

I tested the treo against a sprint samsung the other day at my sister's... side by side, treo would not ring... or if you called, treo would hang up... samsung, no issues. Verizon e815 no issues....

Yes, I have all updates on treo...

    1. 240x320 screen
    2. WM6
    3. Rev.A
    4. More ROM
    5. More RAM
    6. Satisfied with length and width, but would prefer a thinner phone
    7. Built in Wi-fi
    9. BT 2.0 with A2DP
    10. Voice Command usable via BT headset mic

Possibly Palm proving they have good customer support... If not, they will make a phone with everything on your wish lists, but with none of them working correctly.

And that was my initial point. When I had the 700w I had no problem dropping 6 large to get the WX. But now that I have the wx, the phone needed to get me to upgrade would basically have to be a 4or 5th gen Treo. If verizon got the 750 tomorrow, no way would I even consider upgrading.

    Everything that Eddie said except:

    1. I think I'd stick to a square screen, but go with 320 x 320.
    3. As an AT&T customer WM6 will include HSDPA, so that's good for me.
    7. WiFi? Don't really need it. Rarely use it, even when I had it.
    10. VC - Since it comes with a 750 and works with a BT headset, I would hope for Palm or MS to fix some of the "bugs" associated with VC.

I have already planned this. I have yelled at Verizon enough that when it comes out I am definitely looking into it.
