    So what did Windows do to bastardize itself to "windows mobile."? Anyone have any specifics on what changed, please let me know.
    Windows < ubuntu + beryl (UNIX/Linux)... now time to code..

    I've heard its the same. In fact WM6 is actually Vista for the small screen. You should see the smart-flip when it gets going. Its hypnotizing!!

    In case you are serious...

    WM and Win XP are two different OS's. Both are 32 bit memory protected multi-tasking OS's. XP is x86 based, while WM runs on the ARM instruction set. They are therefore not binary compatible. WM runs a cut down version of the Windows API. WM can be targeted using Visual Studio.

    Thats the short of it.
