Ok so I have the following setup (considering switching our T750's over to Exchange, but haven't decided yet).
I have my main e-mail account which forwards a copy to myname2@mydomain.com. My Treo checks myname2 account (only device that does). What I noticed is that it does not delete messages off of the server. My mailbox filled up on that account and I went in manually via the web and deleted them, however then when Outlook did a send/receive next it removed everything that I was keeping in my Inbox. I want to be able to delete e-mails off the of server (when I delete from Outlook AND/OR when the message is 100% fetched) but have them stay in my Inbox even if not on the server.

I had SnapperMail on my T650 and LOVED it and did exactly this. Is there any way to get Outlook to do this?

Is it a POP account or IMAP?

With the configuration you have I dont believe this is possible. When Outlook does a send/receive it syncs with the information that is on the server. If you delete it from the server then it will be gone from Outlook.

If you archive or export data from Outlook into a .PST file you can view the information that was exported in the side panel of Outlook without having it sync to the server.

Hopefully someone else can chime in with a better solution.

Really? So Outlook does not fully download messages and store them on the Treo itself? This seems like a pretty silly setup if you ask me. There are e-mails that I wish to keep but don't want to leave on the server. They are just good to have on my Treo during certains meetings and such. Oh well, guess it's time to start looking into a new e-mail program because I really can't deal with that.

Bottom line ycarzyy, is if you use Exchange and then use EAS on the Treo, then the device will sync just like you expect it to. delete a message on the device - it's gone from the server. EAS is the way to go.
