Think I have checked all the settings for sound, etc, including testing the sound itself, but my 750 never provides the sound when a calendar event occurs.

    Hey Mike,

I was shifting through the Palm library and found this link No sound plays on incoming calls and notifications.

Thanks Kevin. Tried them all, no change. In fact it's worse than I reported; the Calendar doesn't even flash a screen notice, just does nothing.

Your notification database may be screwed up. If you have something like SKTools or MemMaid, see if there are dupe (or dead) notifications in the DB.

If that still doesn't work, there is a small app by pocketmax.net called AlarmPro. I had a similar issue with unreliable alarms/events and installed this small app which assists with this issue. The app also has settings for WM5 to correct alarm issues on startup (kind of what was done for WM2003 and 2003SE).
