I had been using a Treo650 for years and recently changed over to a Cingular 750.

I call overseas using a calling card type of 1-800 number, I then enter my pin, add the commas etc the number and a # (dial extra digits automatically) - just like in the older Treo.

Let's say I have 10 different entries (Dad, Sister etc), all with the same common 1-800 number, the problem is that whatever key I assign or don't assign, the phone ALWAYS calls the first entry in the Speed dial screen !!

Has anyone been able to figure this out ? Is there any replacement App out there ?

    Thks.

I am facing the exact same problem, with no solution in sight.

I'm experiencing the same issue as well. In addition, the "dial extra digits" does not work at all. The more I use the 750, the more I realize why I left Palm products many years ago, and what costly mistake I made. It is very unstable a phone, and worst as a pda.

you are not calling the first number , it just display the first number and you still dialed the actual number .

it is a bug from wm5 and it is NOT fixed in wm6.
