Tried search, but couldn't find anything on this. Seems that the KeyGuard on my 750 doesn't reliably lock the keyboard. If I put it on, then push the hangup key to turn on the screen and mush the keyboard for a while, I can quite often get it to accept input on both keyboard and touch screen.

This has happened while carrying the phone in my pocket several times, dialing a random selection of my quick dials, or messing with my email/calendar/other today items. Quite annoying, particularly since this never happened on my 650. Does anybody know any alternative apps? Or a fixed version of KeyGuard?

Install the vjdevicelock, which always lock to today.

As I said, most thing from Palm are garbage.

You can also try batterstatus v0.04, which can lock your phone to current state, calculate in and out call time, display battery and memory, all in 50KB program.

    All three programs are freewares.

I second vjdevicelock. You can set it to lock when the screen is locked then when you turn the screen on you unlock by hitting the soft key or the unlock on the screen. I use it when streaming music because it doesn't shut the stream down.

    James,

Apparently, you have to press first the softkey then tap on the screen to unlock the Treo. That makes turning on the device a 3 step process.
