yes, i really really hope it works. cell, i went to xda developers website and couldn't find a link to this discussion that people are having regarding tmobileweb. would you happen to know what link that is?

jamesritter, cell was right on, when you call customer service, they really force you to just stay with the $29.99 plan, just say i only want it for email. my plan has changed from a $95 plan w/ tax, down to $55 plan w/tax.

so $40 a month savings x 12 months = $480 saved. almost half a grand! we'll see how it goes on my next bill. =X

so here are the numbers that cell provided, just thought i'd combine it all on this post:

    HTTP: 216.155.165.50:8080
    WAP: wap.voicestream.com:9201
    Secure WAP: wap.voicestream.com:9203
    Socks: 216.155.165.50:1080

    How does that look Cell?!

It is $5.99. Go to your tmobile page and check the plan, if it has the tmobileweb, then you will only be charged for $5.99.

Proxy 8080 always works, if you can use other ports, it will be good for you too.

when you go to settings --> connections --> under "my ISP", choose "manage existing connections"...

there should be three little bubbles where you can choose one of them, it should have, "Auto pick", "Tmobile GPRS (or whatever you named it)", and "Cingular", make sure its not on cingular but on the middle one or the one you labeled as your connection, i chose Tmobile GPRS as the title.

when you highlight this one and choose edit, it takes you into another screen.

here you can make the name of the connection, and make sure the selected modem is (Cellular Line GPRS, 3g).

after you save and log out, do a soft reset and attempt to jump online. let me know what results you get back

so I decide to creat a new one so I have more choice.

now I want to creat a new one,
I name it Tmobile name of connection tmobile

    select modem cellular line gprs,3g

    hit next
Access point name: ??????????/ (what do I put for that)
    user name:
    password:
    Domain*

can you tell me what your state for your settings for the one you click on.
