    Hello,

Does anyone know if there is any way to display the status of the silent / sound switch on the screen? Sometimes I need to silence the phone, but forget that I've done so, and then will miss important calls because I won't hear it ring. Any help greatly appreciated.

    thanks!

How about assigning all phone calls a ringer and also set to vibrate. Then you can turn the volume off, with the switch on top, and when you get a call, the phone will vibrate.

obviously that's a "solution", but it's more of a work around. What if the phone is in the other room? There are also instances where I want the phone to be SILENT. Like, when I"m trying to sleep in the morning :-)

I'm just looking for a small icon with the status display, or even the LED to change color. The reason is that once I pickup the phone, I'll see the indicator on the screen, and will remember to turn the sound back on.

There is a script that flashes the led green when there are any notification that also flashes when the ringer switch is off.

It is dependent on MortScript and the LedUp app that you can get from this post.

I actually just found that thread and am reading it. Thank you for the quick reply! I've been using Mortscript myself, but could not figure out how to find the status of the ringer switch. This helps a lot. I can modify this do to whatever I want - even have a message pop up every 10 minutes to remind. Oh, the potential... :-)
