    So did disabling the beep help at all?

    I suggest everyone with BT8010 problems email Jabra @ techsupp@jabra.com and complain that we need a firmware upgrade.

    Another option may be to call +1 (630) 442-6900

    Yes. Disabling the beep helped a great deal; however, the headset still freezes the phone on occaision, and every now and then, especially when dealing with multiple calls, the headset will not disconnect from the phone at the end of a call.

    Also, I am still getting a lot of skipping on audio playback.

    Nonetheless, the 8010 at least performs well as a normal headset now that the beep is gone!
