    About 1-2 times a day for the past week my internet connection stops working (PIE, Outlook, etc) and I get this message:
    The answering modem has disconnected. To check your connection settings and change them if needed, tap settings.

    A soft reset usually, but not always, cures the problem but it is so annoying because push stops working and I won't even know until I do a send/receive.

    suggests this problem on the 750 could be related to .Net CF, but as far as I know I haven't installed this and it doesn't show up in the list of programs under Remove Programs.

    Last week I did try Phonealarm for a bit and uninstalled it because I didn't like it. I wonder if that did something to the phone?

    I'm desperate for an answer and ready to hard reset at this point...

    have cityid installed?

    Yes I do. Is this the cause of the dreaded problem??!!

    Did you have the same problem with CityID?
