I have been using the Seidio car cradle with GPS on my Treo 650 and have just purchased the 750. Emailed Seidio about a new cradle and they say that there will not be an integrated GPS cradle for Treo 750, due to the limitation of Treo 750 hardware design.

Anyone find a car cradle with GPS for 750?

Seidio said to get the G2200s car cradle as a charging cradle and use a blue tooth GPS unit. This looks like the only option for now but it seems that the 750 fits real loose in the cradle I have now (same as G2200s except with GPS) and the Palm desktop cradle which they sell for the 750 has same loose fit. The connector is the same but the body of the 750 is smaller and rounder so it does not fit as well.

I found the Carcomm Mobile PDA Cradle for the Palm Treo 750 and they say it fits 680 and 750, anyone know for sure if the 680 and 750 are the same size/shape? The Carcomm is purchased from a UK company and with $25 shipping I want to make sure it is going to fit right.

    Thanks for any help

Nice find. I may pick this up myself along with a BT GPS. I'm not trusting Seidio any more - I have a Inno dock and car cradle that cannot properly charge the 750v (they charge the 680 though).

One thing that concerns me about this Carcom kit is that they don't seem to mention vent or windsheid mount accessories - instead, they mention a fuse is included for hard wire installs.

I have used the Proclip system in my cars, works great. Also, Panavise makes nice car mounts. Both are in the $30 range, but worth it for a perfect mounting bracket to fit your car and a perfect device holder.

Thanks. Actually I travel a lot so I need the portable type of mounts that came with the Seidio. I usually use the suction cup windshield mount but in California I have to use the vent mount as the windsheild mount is illegal.

A GPS car kit or just a charger/dock?

My email from Seidio tech support on 1-26 did not mention anything about a cradle for the 750 even being worked on, "to be released in the near future"

Will the cradle fit the phone correctly?

Will it be GPS or charging only? Price?

I have used Proclips for my SX66 and my 8125. Both fit like a glove and I was very happy with them. They just put their new 750 car mount up on the site http://www.proclipusa.com/devicehold...ceholders.aspx (Choose Palm and then 750 from drop downs at top).
This is just a charger. I use mine in combination with a suction cup windshield mount and it is sturdy. I will let you know when mine comes in for the 750.

If you go to Palm's website, they now offer their Palm GPS Smartphone Navigator 3 for the Treo 750.

    http://store.palm.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2608806&creativeID=HmPg_BB|accessories_gps_edition3_299

It uses a Bluetooth GPS receiver. Retail is US$299.

I have also heard that the version 2 is supposed to work with the 750 after installing a software update. It is a little cheaper at US$228 after $50 rebate
