I am now on my fourth Treo 700w. It is the same story every time. The cheap headphone jack will break, thus making my Treo, "deaf and dumb". I can neither hear audio nor can I make or receive phone calls unless I am using my Blue Tooth. I do not use a hands-free plug-in device for making calls, but I do use the device as both an MP3 player and, along with StyleTap and Pocket Tunes, I access Internet audio, using a direct connection into an MP3 plug in my car. Thus, I use headphones a lot for listening to music and Internet audio, but not for making or receiving calls.

And yet, the jack seems to break about every 4-6 weeks. Verizon keeps replacing my phones for free and they keep breaking. I love the phone, but I simply have had it with having to reset a new phone so often. I know I am not the only one with this issue. I would love to hear what others have done in a similar situation.
    Thanks!

DON'T USE THE BARREL TYPE ADAPTERS SOLD AT RADIO SHACK!

(I'm not yelling at you, I'm just typing big so everyone can see.)
