Technically this is not the same AKU. The Verizon one is newer. Sprint is at Build 14929.2.2.1, and VZW is 14932.2.2.2 from the pictures posted right here on the first page of this thread.

As good as the 700W's - fine in my book.

It's really really really weird not EVER having to worry about memory usage! I have app's running and they're all open and STILL the WX is working fine. I LOVE IT!!!!

Additionally it was mentioned in the press release on palm.

    http://investor.palm.com/pressdetail...leaseID=230508

    "support for Bluetooth® stereo headsets.(2)"

What I am curious about is if users will experience the bluetooth problems that have plagued the Sprint version. If they fixed that, then you have yourself a world class phone. I guess I still hold out hope that Palm will support the 700wx on Sprint and maybe integrate a few of the changes made to the VZW model.

One thing for you VZW users to put out of your mind is using a program to close programs. I have used my SPCS 700wx since it has come out, without using those 3rd party app close utilities, and I never have memory problems. You should experience the same experience. Since it has enough memory, just let the device manage RAM.

I don't know. That is a major number update. Look at the first digits not just the 2.2.2. At any rate, I hope they learned from the Sprint device woes and have perfected this device.

yep, as a very heavy user of the wx I can really say with confidence you can officialy forget about the task manager. Open ALL apps you want and forget its there. Your system will still be fast!

indeed the BT stereo headset I have works like a champ with my wx. I'll take a pic or two of the pairing profile info where it has the check boxes next to:
    - headset
    - stereo
    - and I think it also has handsfree on it as well.

My only issue with the Moto is that it makes the wearer (me) TRULY look like a total cyber-borg. Huge things on the ears.

But hey - we early trend setters gotta take the arrows.

on the WX, can you go from email, to PIE, back to email, leave the setup for a while, come back to PIE & have the same page still loaded, or does PIE close all the time (general WX question)?

PIE does not close every time you hit the OK/X button unless you have installed a task manager that makes the X button a real X/close button.

So yeah, the same page will still be displayed when you come back to PIE.
