well, I flaged my account, then called back (*2). the update process seemed to go through like normal, but my prl didn't change. I still have 20225.

    what gives?
  4.    #4
ok, since the first update didn't work I was going to call *2 again and have it flaged again. without having it flaged again I got the prompt saying " you have an update for you phone, ect.". I let it go through again and this time it worked. I now have 20226.

I don't understand why but it may take a few tries.

I called *2, it automatically updated to PRL 20226. Start -> Setting -> About -> Phone (you'll see PRL version).

    Thanks for the post, Cody.
I saw the the phonenews link didn't know what was updated. Anyone find out this info from another source? Just curious.

The update to 20226 went through on my first call to *2. I wonder if the results are different depending on where you are located.

I believe that's a Non-EVDO PRL number. Had the 100XX series on my 1X phones (Sanyo 5600, 7400,etc.). Never seen that number on an EVDO phone before.

My Sanyo M1 PRL number is 60606.

Had such trouble getting it all day - had to call and speak to 2 different reps, and finally it got updated. I must have dialed *2 like 6-7 times. I don't know why I even care so much, it's not like my service in my house ever gets any better. But I need to have the latest and (ha) "greatest".

Odd... mine was already at 20226... I leave the phone on all the time, so maybe it did it automatically... or maybe that was the sprint vision update they said I had to do friday.

okay, maybe im just being hopeful, but i remember hearing we were going to get EV-DO roaming on verizon soon. Could this be it?

Mine says 10037 and I am in Chicago, so not just a west coast thing. I have a treo 650 which is just regular vision, not EVDO. I assume that's why it won't go to 20226??

Didn't we get EV-DO roaming with 20225? I could have sworn I read about users roaming on Verizon already.
